     Group Meditation Opportunities 

 

Beginning and advanced meditators alike find it highly beneficial to meditate with others on a regular basis. Ananda offers several opportunities every week for you to draw from the dynamic energy of group meditation.

All these meditations are open to the public.

 

At the Ananda Temple and Teaching Center, in Beaverton (Donation Basis) - :

Tuesday-Friday Evenings
5:45-6:30 pm - Meditation - On your way home from work, prior to class...wind down from your day and uplift your evening. Chanting, prayer, and meditation.

Thursday Mornings
6-9 am - Meditation - Come for as much as you are able - please enter and leave quietly.

Sunday Mornings
9:00-9:45am - Meditation with Purification Ceremony (more...). There is also a short period of meditation during the first half-hour of Sunday Service.

Friday Evening Events
7:00-9:00pm - These include guided meditations, silent meditations, kirtans (devotional chanting with meditation), and satsangs with long-time meditators. See our Event Listings for dates and details.

At the Ananda Community in Portland (Free) -

Monday-Friday Mornings
6:00-7:00 am - Meditation - include chanting and healing prayers followed by 45-50 minutes of silence.

Saturday Mornings
6-9 am - Meditation following prayer and devotional chanting. Come for as much as you are able - please enter and leave quietly...
