Ananda is a gentle yet dynamic form of yoga, suitable for all ages and body types, that is both spiritually uplifting and physically exhilarating.

The Ananda Yoga system releases stress, relaxes the body, and helps redirect energy inward to expand and elevate your awareness. It is also invaluable for deepening the practice of meditation. (More benefits...)

In our on-going yoga postures classes, we begin with warm-up exercises and include affirmations to integrate our postures. We end with deep relaxation and a brief, guided meditation.

Ananda Yoga is suitable for beginners and experienced students alike. We encourage each student to practice according to his or her own physical condition and temperament. We also offer the unique and expertly guided Extra-Gentle Yoga for those with physical injuries or other limitations. Classes are conducted in a meditative style and environment. The Ananda Yoga approach was begun by Swami Kriyananda based on the hatha yoga practices of Paramhansa Yogananda.
