Continued Rooflines plus August 13th Workday
In these two weeks we were able to seal in the new roof over the foyer, making it weathertight! We also completed the rooflines around the front and entryway, a complicated bit of carpentry that has finally taken shape. We even painted a little of it to see what the colors would look like.
On August 13th about a dozen folks gathered for additional projects. Accomplishments that day include final painting of the school play area (thanks for Bill Smith), framing and sheetrock of the wall between the sanctuary and the primary school classroom (including the installation of a new door), and sheetrock around much of the foyer.
