Nayaswami Vows Ceremony at Ananda Portland

Renunciation is widely misunderstood, and is seen almost exclusively through the eyes of what is given up, rather than what is attained. Renunciation is the process of giving up less satisfying commitments for ones that are more satisfying.

Swami Kriyananda has written a new renunciate order reflecting this different understanding. See Nayaswami.org for full information on this Renunciate Order.

For those who feel in tune with these values and are ready to formally recognize a commitment toward their seeking God:

On Thursday evening, March 25 Ananda Portland hosted a Vows Ceremony for the Nayaswami Renunciate Order. This was for Pilgrims through Full Renunciation.

The Nayaswami Order is not associated with Ananda, but is open to those of all paths who feel in tune with its essential principles.

Information on this renunciate order can be found:

Nayaswamis Jyotish and Devi Novak did oversee the ceremony.

The Nayaswami Renunciate Order is open to truth-seekers from every path who feel in tune with the core values, and is neither defined by nor limited to Ananda (though many Ananda people are in the Order).
