Nayaswami Peggy discovered Yogananda’s teachings in the early 1980s while living on a sailboat in the Sacramento River Delta. She spent a number of years sailing and practicing the meditations prior to moving to Ananda Village in 1991. After a year at the Meditation Retreat, Peggy served at the Expanding Light in guest services before joining the Central Ministry team for Ananda Worldwide. Peggy took Nayaswami vows in 2009 after moving to Portland to serve in the Ministry here.
A gifted healer and teacher, Peggy lives at the Ananda Community of Portland.
